Amazon Student is a free membership program created especially for college students. In order to join, you’ll need an Amazon account, a valid .EDU email address from your school, and you’ll have to be able to provide proof (upon request) that you are a student actively enrolled in at least one course at a college or university located in the U.S.

Membership provides you with a full year of free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime. You’ll also get exclusive discounts on a variety of products at Amazon. The promotional discount offers will be sent to your email account, or made available on the Amazon Student homepage. There is no cost to sign up and participate in the program, and it’s easy to do.

1) Submit your form.

2) Look for an email to the .EDU address you listed on the form.

3) Click the verification link in the email to complete the process.

You have to have an Amazon.com account first. It’s okay if you’re using a different email address for that. The only email Amazon will send to your .EDU address is the one to verify your student status.
